Genesis is not simply the first book of the Bible -- it is the foundation upon which everything else rests. As we begin a journey through the whole of Scripture, we find ourselves drawn back to this remarkable book of beginnings, where the relationship between God and man is established from the very first word. What is striking is how much doctrine -- the core teachings of our faith -- finds its origin right here. The nature of God, the identity of Christ, the dignity of man, the reality of sin, the promise of salvation, the authority of Scripture, and even the doctrine of "Last Days": all of it begins in Genesis. When we understand that Satan's very first tactic was simply to make humanity question God's word, we begin to see why a deep trust in Scripture is not optional but essential. Genesis invites us to ask the questions that every human heart carries -- where did we come from, why are we here, and where are we going -- and then it answers them with breathtaking clarity. Engaging with this book is not an academic exercise; it is a return to the roots of everything we believe and everything we are called to become.
