How it all started...
The roots of Melrose Community Church began with a Sunday school affiliated with the American Sunday School Union. After a period of growth and revival in the 1930s, the community voted in 1953 to officially incorporate as Melrose Community Church.
Our physical presence in the Melrose community grew alongside our congregation, with the first building finalized in 1954 and has developed into a number of classrooms and multi use spaces for God to use and serve our community.
From its inception, Melrose Community Church has been affiliated with Independent Fundamental Churches of America (IFCA) and later also with Northwest Independent Church Extension (NICE).
