Mike Fast

Senior Pastor

Mike Fast grew up in western Oregon, "so being in Melrose already feels a bit like home." He received his Bachelors from Multnomah and his Masters from Trinity, and he has been in full-time work as a pastor since 1991, in both Oregon and California.

His wife, Lora, and he have three grown children, and love the opportunities to travel around the state visiting with them and enjoying the outdoors. "In truth, nowadays we do less camping and more 'glamping.'"

"I love to see what God has done, is doing, and will do at MCC, and I am grateful to be a part of it as I do ministry side-by-side with a terrific church family. "

Christopher Marx

Assistant Pastor, Youth & Tech

Christopher joined our pastor staff in March of 2023 after he and Mariah moved to Roseburg in 2019 and started serving primarily in the audio/video and music ministry at MCC and developed a heart for the youth. As the youth pastor he oversees the spiritual development of those from 6th grade through 12th grade, while also overseeing the church’s “tech” and discipling those involved in those areas of ministry.
Pastor Christopher has a heart for the Gospel and missions and enjoys a good round of disc golf or ultimate frisbee in any weather.
